eDesk
The expeditionary ranges of desks are design to incorporate the requirements of developing warfare, integrating the need of the modern soldier. The requirement for instant communication has never been more apparent than now either abroad or at home the ability to communicate rapidly enables forces to deal with real time threats.

The eDesk are fitted with military type voice & data connections, duplex fibre optic connection and a power link which feeds up to six British sockets built into the desk. Each desk is able to accommodate secure and non-secure network links, when in transit a storage area for PC/Laptop, monitor and telephone is available.
The desks have been designed for:
- Rapid deployment
- Ease of transport
- Modular networking (command or operation centre)
- Connecting to secure and non-secure networks.
The nature of the design is to allow maximum flexibility in the use of the eDesk, these can be used as a individual work areas or as a multiple, making command or operation centres of any size which gives a professional contained work area for each person with communication to local and wide area networks through a central communication point which houses an intelligent switch, telephone system and space for GFE equipment to integrate with you network via what means necessary.
Types of eDesk
There are two main types of desks “single leaf” accommodates one operative and “double leaf “ has two operatives, this is shown above and these where designed and developed by our in house design team so if you need to change anything to meet your specific needs please let us help, nothing is unachievable and we like the challenge.
We also use different types of material polypropylene a heavy duty, very durable and aesthetically pleasing this is for when weight is not an issue and the nature of the material allows each piece to be mechanically fitted, ideal if something has been broken in theatre you only need the replacement piece and a screw driver to re-fit it.
Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) is the other material we use, this is very light and tough, ideal for air transport or rapid reaction and operation rooms, 24 desks could easily be unloaded laid out and connected up for communications within 20 minutes.
You can transport 24 desks in a long wheel based transit in one layer leaving plenty room for communications equipment and other tactical requirements giving you the opportunity to deploy a large command centre any where you wish in a short period of time.
